a christmas story -

joe and i had a great lunch with taylor on sunday. she was slowly eating, having a good time and all of the sudden, we look over and taylor is eating her lunch directly from her plate! we laughed hysterically because it reminded us both of the christmas story movie and we couldn't resist saying "show mommy how you eat like a little piggy!!"

grandma nezzy is a graduate!

this weekend was such a wonderful time - i had the awesome opportunity to go back home to ohio to watch my mom graduate from college with a specialized bachelor's degree. joe and taylor stayed back in midland but they were there in spirit for this special day. i also got to spend the weekend with my awesome sisters, family and friends from high school. i had so much fun that i pretty much peed my pants at times. the overall best part of the weekend was watching my 60-year old mom achieve one of her life-time goals. GO grandma nezzy! we love you!

aunt abbe's wedding!

hello! we are back from our long weekend to cincinnati, ohio for my sister abbe's wedding. we had such great flights and weather the entire time we were up there. taylor was such a great traveler this trip! she had so much fun playing with all the family and other children. she was perfect. we got to hang out with not only my family, but joe's family came down too! it was quite the trip. abbe and jim had a beautiful outside wedding. as you can tell in the pictures, it was quite green! they are now vacationing in maui! how fun. i will upload more pictures of the actual wedding when i get them. but for now...

the last few weeks have been busy for us. we painted and got new carpet. here are the pictures of the new carpet et al! enjoy....

18-month stats

taylor had her 18-month check-up yesterday and did a fabulous job!
33.5 inches in height
25.4 ounches in weight
she's also doing super well in everything else and the doc said we could stop the allergy meds after may, so that's a blessing!
she's such a trooper with the doctor and sits very still and quite during the check-up. she was so good that they let her wear the stethoscope for a few minutes! it was super cute and i wish i had my camera!
